Homemade Cilantro Salsa



Get your tortilla chips ready! This homemade cilantro salsa is the easiest and tastiest salsa you’ll ever make💃🙌🏼 All you need is 6 simple ingredients and a blender!


This is a weekly staple in our kitchen because we love adding salsa to EVERYTHING! It’s a great addition with eggs, chicken or fish, in a grain bowl, with tacos or wraps, with chips as a snack, on a burger… the list goes on.


Cilantro is really the star of the show in this recipe. Cilantro is packed with nutrients like vitamin K, vitamin A, and antioxidants. The addition of lemon, lime, and tomato add a boost of vitamin C and adds the the perfect tangy flavor!

 

Homemade Cilantro Salsa

Prep Time: 5 minutes


Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb can diced tomatoes

  2. 1 whole head fresh cilantro, chopped

  3. The juice from 1 lemon and 1 lime (pits removed)🍋

  4. salt and pepper to taste

  5. 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender

  2. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust any seasonings if necessary.
