Immunity Tea
Total Time: 25-35 minutes
Ingredients:
1 large knob of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
2 heaping tbsp ground turmeric (or 1 knob if you have fresh)
2-4 Tbsp maple syrup, or more to taste (depending on how sweet you like it)
A few generous shakes of cinnamon
optional: juice of 1 lemon
Instructions:
Fill a 3 quart pot with filtered water and add all ingredients. Mix well.
Bring to a boil and boil for at least 10 minutes/20 minutes if you like a stronger tea.
Turn off the heat and allow to sit for another 10ish minutes.
Remove the ginger knobs using a slotted spoon or strainer.
Serve hot or iced.
