Tahini Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Stuffed Dates

Sharing a version of one of our favorite sweet treats: tahini dark chocolate sea salt stuffed dates 🤎 These little bites are the perfect balance of sweet, rich, and salty- and they come together in just a few minutes.


Dates are naturally sweet, chewy, and incredibly satisfying, making them an ideal base for an easy snack or simple dessert when you’re craving something a little indulgent but still nourishing.


These are stuffed with creamy tahini, dark chocolate chips, and finished with flaky sea salt and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Pop them in the freezer for a bit to set, and you’re good to go. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and so tasty.

Tahini Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Stuffed Dates

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes Freeze Time: 15+ minutes Servings: 12 dates


Ingredients:

  • 12 Medjool dates

  • 6-12 Tbsp tahini

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

  • Dash of cinnamon


Instructions:

  1. Cut dates in half, making sure to remove the seeds if they are not already pitted.

  2. Fill each date with about 1/2-1 tbsp tahini

  3. Melt dark chocolate chips with 1-2 tsp of coconut oil on the stovetop or in the microwave

  4. Fill dates with another layer of the melted dark chocolate plus an extra drizzle over top

  5. Top each date with a sprinkle of sea salt flakes and cinnamon

  6. Pop in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to let the chocolate harden up a bit before eating. Keep stored in the freezer.
