Spinach Turmeric Turkey Burgers



One of my favorite turkey burger recipes!😛🍃


I love making these spinach turmeric turkey burgers at the beginning of the week and having them ready to go protein for lunches and dinner 🤌🏼


This recipe is a great way to sneak in some extra greens in your diet💚 I added a few handfuls of baby spinach, as well as turmeric for a boost of anti-inflammatory benefits💥


Turmeric is a traditional Indian spice with a powerful compound called curcumin. Curcumin is known to have potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I love mixing this spice into marinades, stir fries, scrambled in with eggs and frittatas, or added to burgers!

 

Spinach Turmeric Turkey Burgers

Prep Time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb package of ground turkey

  • 2-3 large handfuls of baby spinach, chopped

  • 2 tsp @frontiercoop Organic Turmeric Twist (or plain turmeric)

  • 1/2-1 tsp sea salt

  • Optional: 1/3 cup feta cheese

Instructions:

  1. Mix ingredients into a bowl and then form into patties.

  2. Cook on the stovetop or grill until burgers are cooked through.

  3. We served these over a spinach salad with roasted potatoes and Romano cheese.
