Coconut Almond Dark Chocolate Bars
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Bars:
2.5 cups shredded coconut
1/2-3/4 cup creamy almond butter (you may need to use more if the nut butter you use is more thick versus smooth/drizzly)
1/4 cup maple syrup
Almond milk if needed to moisten
Chocolate Spread:
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse lightly until mixture is blended together but coconut is still in shredded pieces, adding a splash of almond milk if needed.
In a pot on the stovetop or in the microwave, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil, giving it a stir.
Pour melted chocolate over bars and spread evenly with a spoon.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and pop back in the freezer until chocolate has hardened.
